Sony Ericsson W800i, CeBIT Models.
W800i/c
The Sony Ericsson W800 is a long-rumoured Walkman branded phone that attempts to combine the features of a digital music player, mobile phone and camera into the one device.
It's certainly an impressive and snazzy-looking phone, with up to 30 hours playback time, a powerful set of audio playback applications, 2 megapixel digital camera, FM radio and a 512Mb Sony Memory Stick Duo bundled in, but the W800 is certainly no iPod killer.
There are plenty of good points here - the device weighs just 100 grams and it seems to be easy to use, both on the handset itself and by using Sony Ericsson's Disk2Phone software to transfer CD tracks to the W800. It can play back MP3 and AAC files too, so it's quite flexible. The 176x220 pixel display is in 262,000 colours, a pretty standard but good quality unit.
K750i/c
It hasn't been more than a week and a half since this year's 3GSM World Congress ended; a mobility-focused show where Sony Ericsson enjoyed its rightful share of the spotlight as a result of unveiling the K600i and Z800i. Naturally, I assumed the handset maker's unveiling there meant they'd give it (and me) a rest until the CeBIT consumer electronics giga-show kicks off next week. Of course, I was wrong.
Having launched four brand spanking new handsets today, I had my chance to play with one of the two most coveted - the K750i. Essentially an upgrade to the company's existing K700i model, the K750 makes a giant leap forward in the camera department, boasting a 2 Megapixel version where the K700i's was an almost-too-embarassing-to-mention 0.3 Megapixel.
K600i

In a device that is the same size and weight as existing 2G handsets, the K600 delivers the full performance and possibilities of 3G networks, including high quality video telephony, a 1.3 MegaPixel camera and fast download of compelling mobile content.
